Develop Automation Solutions in an Advanced Production Environment in Karlskrona

We are now looking for an automation engineer for our Automation and Projects department within Production Development, who will develop automation solutions for our high-tech and unique production of high-voltage cables in a project-based environment. Develop Automation Solutions in a Collaborative Team

We are investing in updating production with the latest technology and developing innovative automation systems for our cable production. Within Automation and Projects, we work, in addition to electrical and automation solutions, also with process development, SCADA applications, connectivity to higher-level systems, and project management. Before automation solutions are implemented in production, we have a lab operation where our employees can test and ensure the quality of their solutions.

Your main tasks will include:

• Developing small and large automation solutions in project form, including hardware and software selection
• PLC programming and electrical design on machines and production equipment
• Reviewing and validating automation and electrical design solutions both on new machines and during the reconstruction of existing machines
• Participating in calculations and quotations for automation projects
• Managing sub-projects
• Providing line support for production

As an automation engineer, you will be an important part of the team in Automation and Projects within Production Development, consisting of about 8 employees who are largely experienced engineers with mixed competencies and experiences in electrical design and automation. Our team is characterized by collaboration, good communication, and openness to discuss solutions.

We focus on future needs, technical development, and long-term improvements. The urgent and daily maintenance is handled by the maintenance department, with whom we collaborate.

Experience in PLC Programming and a Collaborative Personality

We are looking for someone who wants to work in project form and appreciates varied tasks. To thrive and do a good job in this role requires commitment and motivation. You work systematically, are responsible, and collaborate well with your colleagues.

You also have:

• A technical education from university, college, YH, or equivalent experience in PLC programming
• Experience in PLC programming
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
